Bring water to a boil, then add pierogi and gently stir until they rise to the top. Gently strain. Serve them with sour cream, apple sauce or tomato sauce on the side.

Sauteed
Place pierogi into a frying pan with oil or butter until they are lightly browned and both sides are crispy. You can add onions or bacon to the pierogi while sauteeing. Add sour cream, tomato sauce, or apple sauce on the side.

Deep Fried
Place pierogi into a frying pan with enough oil to cover them and cook until they are lightly browned and both sides are crispy. Add sour cream, tomato sauce or apple sauce on the side.

Microwave
Place pierogi in a microwaveable dish and cover. Microwave on high for one to two minutes, remove from microwave and let cool for thirty seconds (contents may be hot). Add sour cream, tomato sauce or apple sauce on the side.
